John has been active in the Washington real estate market since 2010. John previously worked over 30-years in public service. He expanded his expertise by obtaining a license in Oregon a few years later. Married with three grown children and nine grandchildren.  John was born in Garden City, Kansas, and raised in California and Oregon.

His journey began at Madison High School in Portland. He lettered in Football, Track, and Varsity wrestling. After graduation in 1972, John enlisted in the US Air Force. He became a jet engine mechanic stationed at McCord Air Force Base in Washington. John high school sweetheart Karen.

Leaving USAF John transferred to the Oregon Air National Guard. John began an apprenticeship at Bingham-Willamette, a prominent machine shop on the NW Portland waterfront. Eager to enhance his education, John pursued studies at Portland State University. John finally earned his BS at Eastern Oregon University. His focus was on Criminology, Anthropology and Sociology.
